FuelEU Maritime Software: Reduce GHG Intensity & Avoid €2,400/T Penalties

FuelEU Maritime introduces a new emissions framework targeting the well-to-wake greenhouse gas (GHG) intensity of fuels used on vessels ≥5000 GT calling at EU ports. Starting in 2025, shipowners must gradually reduce the GHG intensity of their energy use, with an 80% reduction target by 2050. Failing to meet the annual GHG intensity target can lead to significant penalties—up to €2,400 per tonne of fuel-equivalent emissions.

Our Role in Your Operation

Why It Matters

FuelEU is more than a regulation, it’s a catalyst for energy transition. Failing to monitor and manage GHG intensity not only results in costly penalties, but also leaves you unprepared for future operational requirements, such as shore power or synthetic fuels. Customers and cargo owners are increasingly scrutinizing the emissions performance of their transport providers. Proseadure empowers operators to adapt quickly and compliantly. You can simulate the impact of switching fuels, see where your GHG profile sits, and avoid compliance gaps before they turn into costs. Our system enables planning for retrofits, route adjustments, and operational changes all backed by real-time, verifiable data.

Compliance

Proseadure delivers smart maritime technology that keeps your operations connected, informed and secure. We build plug-and-play solutions for connectivity, weather intelligence and onboard data — all designed to reduce risk, cut costs and boost performance at sea.
